Nia is a sensory-based movement practice that draws from martial arts, dance and healing arts.
Nia's 52 movements promote body wellness, enhancing mind, emotion, and spirit.
It benefits and empowers people of all shapes, sizes, physical limitations.
​While typically practiced barefoot,
 soft-soled dance slippers are optional ( your feet are part of the experience)
Participants are encouraged to move in their own way ( your body's way), adjusting intensity to their need.

In Nia Floor Play is practiced to learn getting on and off the floor with ease.
Nia can stand alone or complement other physical activities. It's both therapeutic and fun.
   
NOTE: Seeking opportunities in-person or virtually (On-Line) to showcase Nia the Teachnique and or Nia Weight Training 30-20-10
