Nia empowers people of all shapes and sizes by connecting the body, mind, emotions and spirit.
Nia combines dance movements and heart pumping martial arts moves infused with subtle therapeutic techniques designed to heighten body awareness and sensory IQ. A Nia workout delivers cardiovascular and whole body conditioning for the body, mind, emotions and spirit.
Nia the Technique employs 52 basic movements and techniques that draw on a combination of Jazz, Modern and Duncan Dance styles, TaiChi, TaeKwonDo
and Aikido; and the bodymind healing arts of Feldenkrais Method, Alexander Technique and Yoga.
Claudia participated in Nia classes for 5 years in Albany NY before becoming a Nia instructor ( Nia White Belt 2006; Nia Blue Belt in 2013). She continues to invite others to join the joy of movement experience.
